We will certainly remember 2020 maybe as the year of COVID-19 or the rise of the economic crisis. We decided to think about work only after we got close to our loved ones, after taking the necessary precautions, after dealing with health emergencies. We thought about how to react, how to use time well, so a program was made, ideas were put down and we decided that the best thing to do for the job was to redo the site, from scratch. We needed a different place where we could meet customers and give a more precise image of what we do. Donato (webdesignaddicted.eu) has allowed me to work together with him, at this new dress. Working from home in smart-working mode (as we have always done), we decided to give shape to change.

In 2013 we released the previous version, and our goal has not changed: to give the feeling of an art gallery. A neat and clean place without too many "distractions".
The time that obviously passes, creates new needs, brings to light new styles and trends. We took all this into account and designed the site as we design whatever arrives on the work desk: We start with a nice note pad and we start to jot down a lot of ideas, we look for references to understand what to approach, what a "taste" to go looking for, look for the right tools and begin to establish all the necessary changes, the introduction of new features and a thousand other things.
We have kept the same guidelines that we had previously but have made countless changes:

As for the site, a rework was recently done, of the Spiderman presented at Lucca Comics 2018 using the beautiful PS4 suit for the first time.

The image is over New York, among its buildings and to give it a dynamic look, there is the spider web practically launched towards the observer. 

It was decided to change the position of the head and to "warm" the coloring as if it were at sunset.

This re-work represents well the work done on this site: same spirit, ideals and intentions.

In the last version we used a mosaic of regular and geometric bricks directly in the "home", with all the posts. We therefore published content regularly that created a colorful motif of various images. We have summarized, choosing a main page static, which would give all the information you need and then move inside the various sections of the site (which have decreased a lot). Once again we understand how much the sintesysand the cleaning to theessential and therefore the art of "taking away" remains the best choice.

We are Italians but we want to reach customers anywhere in the world. Trying to be as international as possible and make ourselves known abroad we adopted a multilingual translation system. However, we found it more effective to use only Italian and English to simplify the entire translation process and to avoid the risk that an automatic translation would not correctly translate some terms and thoughts, most of it is handwritten. all the translation was write by hand, word by word.

Communication and Identity
These two things have had a radical change, before the concept of an "Artist" who makes "Art" was a rather generic and disordered concept. This is why the identity of "Creative Studio" better reflects the wide range of work that can be requested.
Over time due to necessity and passion, skills and tools have been added that are now specifically indicated:

Fino a questo momento tutto veniva comunicato attraverso i post come in un blog. Abbiamo ritenuto opportuno eliminare questa funzione in quanto, le cose basilari da sapere per ordinare un immagine non cambiano mentre, le comunicazioni che possiamo definire “temporanee” non necessitano di rimanere per sempre. Per tanto, qualsiasi annuncio sarà messo direttamente nella “home” sotto l’immagine principale e verrà spiegato nel dettaglio, nella prima parte della sezione “Notizie”.

La home dice chi siamo e cosa facciamo. La sezione “Bisogno di immagini?” dice come lo facciamo. Le gallerie mostrano tutto il lavoro e c’è anche un bellissimo negozio dove acquistare qualcosa e tutto questo, sia in Italiano che in Inglese.

Version 6.0

Il sito é sempre stato importantissimo! Ed é stato il riflesso delle idee nei vari anni.

Nel 2005 la prima versione, rappresentava chiaramente la visione di un teenager ma nel 2010 la visione iniziava a diventare precisa: il sito doveva essere minimal, una vetrina, ci dovevano essere delle sezioni con all’interno delle gallerie, senza troppe cose che distraessero. Qui potete vedere degli screen delle varie versioni. Si passò da una total black version infinitamente scarna alla “dirty” del 2013.

Sentimmo poi la necessità di un “clean” che ripulisse tutto;così diventò tutto bianco, minimal e ordinato. Un villain:il dottor destino prende il posto degli eroi,un immagine dark in contrasto con il bianco, venne sostituito il font e tutto sembrò più high-tech. Fu una delle versioni più belle! Ma poco dopo arriverò la fine.

Per un problema causato da quel tema il sito subì un blocco, non ci fu modo di accedervi per fare qualsiasi cosa. Il sito era irraggiungibile e senza poterlo aggiornare e lavorarci la conseguenza ovvia é stata perdere tutto il seguito raggiunto.

I due anni di assenza del sito sono stati lo specchio di due anni di assenza dal lavoro, tuttavia con perseveranza, tutto è stato riparato ed è tornato funzionale. E’ piano piano ripartito il lavoro, il sito e fu adottata la visualizzazione a “mattoncini geometrici” di cui parlavamo prima.

Questa è la sesta versione in 15 anni. Siamo passati dai colori al neutro, dallo “sporco” al minimal, dalle gallerie all’e-commerce, dal “blog” ad aprire un azienda. 

Sicuramente il meglio, che siamo riusciti a fare!
