The exhibition
From February 1 to March 1, 2026, the venue hosts one of my British School Pisa dedicated to the imagery of contemporary comics and comic art. solo exhibition dedicated to the imagery of contemporary comics and comic art.
The exhibition features 10 high-quality canvas prints, each depicting an iconic character from the comics world, reinterpreted through my artistic language.
The canvases measure 40×60 cm and are mounted on a wooden frame with printing on the sides (gallery wrap), ready to hang.
Each piece is a unique work, ideal for collectors and comic art enthusiasts.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a space that is easily accessible and designed to welcome the public in a cultural and educational setting.

About me
Born in 1991 near Naples, Marco Russo he has always loved drawing, painting, and comics.
From the early years of school, begins to acquire skills and receive recognition.
Expressing oneself and communicating through these means become their way of life.
He attends high school at the "A.Passaglia" Art Institute in Lucca where, in 2009, he met Simone Bianchi (world-famous Marvel artist) who helped him improve.
He had the privilege to collaborate with him in coloring the story about Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel 2018), “Sharkey: The Bounty Hunter” (Netflix), and other projects.
On January 1st, 2018, he opened his Creative Studio to create 360° images:From classic painting to advertising graphics, from comics to design. Over the years, they have participated in more than 50 events between Italy, Europe, and the United States.
In 2023 for instance, between the Chicago event and the one in New York City (NYCC), he started new collaborations as the one withAnthony’s Comic Book Artand with the famouscArt Gallery" of Roma. Soon after, he started his exhibition “"Inside my mind"at the "Il Germoglio" Art Gallery in Tuscany..
Marco has made also several covers for books, advertisements, images for companies, graphic novelillustrations for songs musical tracks, board game, posters for events, , etc.
Among his other works: in 2020 for Edizioni Chartesia he painted 3 canvases for a new version ofThe Divine Comedyby Dante Aligheri. The ambitious project was introduced in absolute preview during theOPEN STUDIO ONLINEthe live broadcast that Marco produced in collaboration with Lucca Comics during the lockdown for Covid-19 pandemic.. Those paintings and others were used for some art exhibitions.
In 2024 he created the graphic novel “Vino Generoso” by Italo Svevo (PV Edizioni) and since 2025 he has been Art Director to renew the design and communication of some brands.
