Projects for Children

Micol Buti

Micol is an illustrator who uses a very particular technique: with paper, he creates real 3D sets that he moves to bring the images to life. In his paper, constructions, photography, digital techniques, stop motion and many other particular techniques coexist.

He has collaborated with companies such as Attaccapanni Press, Zetalab for the “The Milaneser” project, and curated the image of the 2023 edition of Baff.
He has also worked as a colorist for various projects related to the world of comics.

Micol was born in 1991 in the Pistoia area and works in his studio in Viareggio. He attended the A. Passaglia Art Institute in Lucca and he participated in many industry events, one above all: Lucca Comics!
