I have a particular affection for this image which determines the beginning of my artistic path linked to super-heroes. It hadn't been long since I discovered Gabriele Dell'Otto and Simone Bianchi and inspired by their talent and techniques, I made my attempts to learn the secrets of my myths.

This scene draws inspiration from the movie: "X-Men – The Last Stand", when Wolverine, in an attempt to find and save Jean Grey , he has to fight in a forest protected by Magneto and the mutants of the "brotherhood". Trying to hide, the clawed Canadian climbs with his claws the trees from which he surveys the battlefield.

The painting is painted using an airbrush on an acrylic gesso.

The image required a very long process due to its size and inexperience.

I really enjoyed making this painting and also working on these mythical superheroes, incredibly famous and well known to all thanks to comics and cinema.
